Semiconductor materials - Experiment and Computation

Hello there,

I am Dr. Sebin Devasia an Assistant professor in Physics at PSG Institute of Advanced Studies. As a materials researcher, I am dedicated to advancing the field of advanced semiconductor thin films for photovoltaics, photodetectors, and other optoelectronic applications. My current area of focus is on the study of perovskite and lead-free perovskite-inspired materials, with a particular interest in their light-matter interactions.

To deepen my understanding of these materials, I utilize cutting-edge computational calculations based on density functional theory (DFT) to shed light on the electronic and optical properties of these materials and contribute to the advancement of their utilization in practical applications.
