NREL achieves 90 % bifacial efficiency in perovskite solar cells
July 15, 2023
Perovskite solar cells made by NREL gives 91-93 % bifacial efficiency taking the research to next level. The p-i-n device demonstrated a front-side and rear-side efficiencies of 23.3% and 21.3%, respectively.
31.25 % efficient Si/Pero tandem solar cells by additive engineering
July 10, 2023
By incorporating additives to control the crystallization rate of the perovskite layer, recombination losses in a 1.17 cm-square solar cell are effectively reduced, leading to an impressive efficiency of 31.25%.
Piperazinium iodide at the perovskite/ETL Interface improve the efficiency of Si/Pero Tandem solar cell to 32.5 %
July 10, 2023
Better band alignment, enhanced charge extraction and suppressed nonradiative recombination between a trihalide perovskite and C60 electron transporting layer was achieved by the positive dipole created by piperazinium iodide (an ionic liquid) at the interface.
